In Memoriam

Those of us in the Scripting Fellowship, let us never forget https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-156, and what it entails, both in intention, lack of resolution, and result.

Having never myself used the Forums to a significant degree (my few ventures into reading them having been at first stymied by some Problem with Cookies, and thereafter by having discovered an apparently infinite number of posting by Persons Whose Interests Differ Substantially From Mine), I am not aware of the relationship between them and the Universal Fellowship of Scripters. Have I been missing out (to use the popular phrase) by not perusing and/or pursuing some part of the forums in which Scripting Topics are discussed in a manner civilized enough to be of use?

Dear Ordinal,

Do not give up hope! Patience is a virtue! I too had a horrid bug, https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-93 , which prevented me from using SLURLs to direct customers to my store. And then, after a mere 20 months, it was fixed -- by Philip Himself! So perhaps this hazard too is close to being overcome. I am sure the engineers at Linden Lab have been working feverishly on it nonstop. Chin up!

You have such admirable faith, Ms. Malaprop. We seldom see WEB- JIRAS get resolved.
