I have very little to report in terms of Progress at this time, but I can say that those of you wishing for whatever reason to observe me wittering on at even greater length than usual may be interested in reading this extremely patient interview with my good self by Miller Copeland, who writes the always-worth-reading Aethernet Periodical "In The Grid". The subjects of my discourse are slightly different to those I usually propound upon here, which may make a refreshing change, and the piece includes an image of myself, unusually enough, not appearing to be dying of consumption. Honestly, I am completely unable to obtain such pictures myself; clearly it requires a better photographic eye than I possess.
Brilliant interview! And well deserved. I have some wonderful news for your vehicles, too!
As of Thursday, all of the Caledon sims have been placed at one co-location facility by the Lindens.
The intersim transitions are optimised in this way, and one's data no longer has to cross thousands of miles of the Otherworld Aether simply for us to cross a regional border. Huzzah!
May the Packet Faries now find the Caledon tram a less heavy burden.
Well, that is terrific news! I have yet to test the New Reality, but be assured that I shall.
Great interview! But purple monsters?? I hope there's some secret code to prevent the beehive gun's usage against its creator. ;)
I am new to Caledon, but not to the grid itself, and I'm fascinated by your work, as it reminds me of the work of my mentor, Dolus Naumova, on a larger scale.
I think the tram system is quite impressive, and I'm currently working on a system for roughly-as-heavy-as-air transit between various locations in Caledon.
